Instructions
- Cook the fettuccine pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside in a warm pot to keep it heated.
- In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat until it becomes bubbly and starts to foam.
- Add the heavy cream to the skillet and bring to a gentle simmer, stirring constantly.
- Gradually stir in the grated Parmesan cheese until it melts completely and the sauce is smooth. Season with salt and black pepper to taste.
- Add the cooked fettuccine and toss well to coat. Serve immediately, garnished with freshly chopped parsley if desired.
