Description

Eggnog Tiramisu combines the rich, creamy flavors of traditional tiramisu with the festive touch of eggnog, making it a perfect holiday dessert.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup eggnog
  • 8 oz mascarpone cheese
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/3 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 tbsp dark rum (optional)
  • 1 cup espresso or strong coffee (cooled)
  • 24 ladyfinger biscuits
  • 2 tbsp cocoa powder (for dusting)

Instructions

  1. Beat mascarpone cheese in a bowl until smooth.
  2. In another bowl, whip heavy cream with powdered sugar until soft peaks form.
  3. Fold the whipped cream into the mascarpone mixture, then stir in the eggnog, vanilla, and dark rum if using.
  4. Quickly dip each ladyfinger into the cooled coffee and arrange them in a layer in a dish. Spread half of the eggnog cream over the ladyfingers. Add another layer of dipped ladyfingers and top with the remaining cream.
  5. Smooth the top and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight to allow the flavors to meld beautifully.
  6. Before serving, dust with cocoa powder and enjoy chilled.

Notes

For a caffeine kick, replace dark rum with coffee-flavored liqueur. For a non-alcoholic version, skip the rum and use a splash of vanilla extract.
