Description

A quick and comforting sandwich combining scrambled eggs and toasted bread, perfect for breakfast or lunch.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 slices of bread
  • 2 eggs
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Butter or oil for frying
  • Optional: cheese, lettuce, tomato, or other fillings

Instructions

  1. Heat a skillet over medium heat and add butter or oil.
  2. Beat the eggs in a bowl and season with salt and pepper.
  3. Pour the beaten eggs into the skillet and scramble until cooked through.
  4. Place one slice of bread in the skillet, add scrambled eggs on top, and add optional toppings.
  5. Top with the second slice of bread and press down gently.
  6. Cook until the bread is golden brown, then flip and cook the other side.
  7. Remove from skillet, cut in half, and serve warm.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 2 days. Reheat in a skillet or toaster.
