- 1 cup packed brown sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract

- 1 cup white chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup crushed candy canes (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy.
- Beat in the eggs one at a time, blending well after each addition.
- In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt, then gradually blend into the creamed mixture.
- Stir in the chocolate chips, white chocolate chips, and crushed candy canes if using.
- Drop rounded tablespoonfuls of dough onto ungreased baking sheets, spacing them apart.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes, until the edges are lightly golden.
- Let cool on the baking sheets for a few minutes before transferring to wire racks to cool completely.
Notes
For softer cookies, remove from the oven slightly underbaked. Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to one week.
