Description

A delightful combination of chocolate, caramel, and pecans in chewy, gooey bars that are easy to make and irresistible.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 cups chocolate chips
  • 1 cup caramel sauce
  • 1 cup chopped pecans
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a 9×13 inch baking pan with parchment paper.
  2. Combine the all-purpose flour, cocoa powder, brown sugar, and salt in a mixing bowl.
  3. Stir in the melted butter until crumbly, then press into the bottom of the prepared pan.
  4. Bake for 10 minutes, remove from the oven, and evenly sprinkle chocolate chips over the crust.
  5. Drizzle caramel sauce on top and sprinkle chopped pecans.
  6. Return to the oven and bake for an additional 15-20 minutes until the edges are set.
  7. Cool completely before cutting into bars and serving.

Notes

Chill in the fridge for cleaner cuts. Store in an airtight container.
