Description

Roasted Brussels sprouts with maple syrup and pecans create a sensational side dish, perfect for Thanksgiving.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb Brussels sprouts, trimmed and halved
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp maple syrup
  • 1/2 cup pecans, chopped
  • Salt, to taste
  • Pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a large bowl, toss the Brussels sprouts with olive oil, salt, and pepper.
  3. Spread the Brussels sprouts in a single layer on a baking sheet and roast for 20-25 minutes, shaking the pan halfway through.
  4. During the last 5 minutes, drizzle maple syrup over the sprouts and sprinkle the pecans on top. Roast until pecans are toasted and fragrant.
  5. Serve warm and enjoy!
