- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- ¾ cup plain yogurt
- Water, as needed to form a dough
Instructions
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, and salt.
- Add the olive oil and yogurt to the dry ingredients and mix until a rough dough forms. Adjust with water as needed.
- Divide the dough into four equal portions, roll each into a ball, then flatten into a round disc about ¼ inch thick.
- Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and cook each naan for 1-2 minutes on each side until puffed and golden.
- Keep finished naan warm in a kitchen towel until all are cooked.
Notes
Serve warm with dips or curries. You can also add spices or cheese to the dough for variations.
