A delightful twist on classic chicken cordon bleu, this sandwich features grilled chicken, savory ham, and melty Swiss cheese in a crusty baguette.


Ingredients

  • 1 grilled chicken breast
  • 2 slices ham
  • 2 slices Swiss cheese
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard or honey mustard
  • 1 leaf lettuce or small handful baby greens
  • 2 slices tomato
  • 1 crusty baguette or ciabatta roll
  • 1 tablespoon butter (optional, for grilling)

Instructions

  1. Season and grill the chicken breast for 6–8 minutes per side, until fully cooked. Let rest, then slice.
  2. Slice the bread lengthwise and butter or spread with mayo if desired. Toast until golden brown.
  3. Layer grilled chicken, ham, and Swiss cheese on the bottom half of the toasted bread. Add lettuce and tomato, then drizzle mustard over the top.
  4. Press the sandwich in a panini press or skillet until cheese melts and sandwich is warmed through.
  5. Slice in half and serve warm.
