A delightful fusion of banana bread and cinnamon rolls, perfect for breakfast or a snack.


Ingredients

  • 3 ripe bananas
  • 1/2 cup melted butter
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a loaf pan.
  2. Mash the ripe bananas with a fork until smooth. Stir in the melted butter, followed by sugar, egg, and vanilla.
  3. Sprinkle the baking soda and salt over the mixture and gently combine. Gradually mix in the flour.
  4. Combine the cinnamon and brown sugar in a bowl. Pour half of the batter into the pan, sprinkle half of the cinnamon-sugar mixture, then add the rest of the batter and the remaining cinnamon-sugar.
  5. Bake for 50-60 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  6. Let the bread cool for about 10 minutes in the pan before transferring to a wire rack.

Notes

Use overripe bananas for best flavor and remember not to overmix the batter.
