A delightful vegetarian dish combining tender broccoli and gooey cheese wrapped in flaky puff pastry, perfect for appetizers or quick dinners.

- 1 sheet puff pastry
- 1 cup broccoli florets, steamed
- 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or mozzarella)
- 1 egg (for egg wash)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 tablespoon olive oil (optional)
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Roll out the puff pastry on a floured surface to fit your baking dish.
- Combine the steamed broccoli, shredded cheese, salt, pepper, and optional garlic powder in a bowl.
- Place the broccoli mixture on one half of the pastry, fold the other half over, and seal the edges tightly.
- Beat the egg and brush it over the top of the pastry.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown and puffed.
- Allow to cool slightly before slicing and serving.
Notes
Serve warm with a side dip like marinara or ranch. Can be stored in the fridge for up to 3 days.
