Instructions
- Peel the bananas and slice them into small pieces.
- Place the banana slices in a freezer-safe container and freeze for at least 2 hours or until solid.
- Add the frozen banana slices to a food processor along with lemon juice, honey (if using), vanilla extract, and salt.
- Blend until smooth and creamy, scraping down the sides as necessary. Serve immediately as a soft-serve treat or transfer to a container and freeze for an additional 1-2 hours for a firmer texture.
Notes
Store in an airtight container in the freezer for up to one week. Let it sit at room temperature for a few minutes before scooping if it hardens.
