Description

A quick and healthy homemade banana ice cream, perfect for satisfying your sweet tooth with natural sweetness.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 ripe bananas
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup (optional)
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • A pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Peel the bananas and slice them into small pieces.
  2. Place the banana slices in a freezer-safe container and freeze for at least 2 hours or until solid.
  3. Add the frozen banana slices to a food processor along with lemon juice, honey (if using), vanilla extract, and salt.
  4. Blend until smooth and creamy, scraping down the sides as necessary. Serve immediately as a soft-serve treat or transfer to a container and freeze for an additional 1-2 hours for a firmer texture.

Notes

Store in an airtight container in the freezer for up to one week. Let it sit at room temperature for a few minutes before scooping if it hardens.
