- 2 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 1/2 cups sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup M&M’s
- 1/2 cup white chocolate chips
- Sprinkles (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a bowl, mix together the flour, baking soda, and salt; set aside.
- Cream together the softened butter and sugar until smooth.
- Beat in the egg and vanilla until fully incorporated.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
- Fold in M&M’s and white chocolate chips gently.
- Drop rounded tablespoons of the dough onto ungreased cookie sheets, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
- If desired, sprinkle additional M&M’s or colorful sprinkles on top of the dough.
- Bake for 8 to 10 minutes, or until the edges are golden and the centers look set.
- Let cool on the sheets for a few minutes before transferring to wire racks.
Notes
Cookies can be stored in an airtight container for up to a week or frozen for up to three months. Make sure your butter is softened, not melted, for the best texture.
