Description

A delightful twist on the classic Caesar salad, featuring crisp cucumbers and a creamy dressing that make it perfect for warm weather.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 large cucumbers
  • 1 cup romaine lettuce
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup Caesar dressing
  • 1/2 cup croutons
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Wash the cucumbers and romaine lettuce under cool running water. Pat them dry with a clean towel. Slice the cucumbers into rounds or half-moons, depending on your preference, and chop the romaine lettuce into bite-sized pieces.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the sliced cucumbers and chopped romaine lettuce. Toss them gently to mix.
  3. Sprinkle the grated Parmesan cheese over the cucumber and lettuce mixture. Drizzle the Caesar dressing evenly across the salad. Gently toss to combine all ingredients thoroughly, ensuring everything is coated with the dressing.
  4. Add the lemon juice, followed by salt and pepper to taste. Toss the salad lightly to season. Finally, sprinkle the croutons on top and give it another gentle toss. Serve immediately for best freshness.

Notes

For optimal freshness, consume within 1 day. Store leftovers in an airtight container.
