- Additional powdered sugar for rolling
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Cream together the softened butter and powdered sugar until light and fluffy; stir in vanilla extract.
- Gradually add the flour and salt, mixing until combined, then fold in chopped almonds.
- Roll the dough into 1 inch balls and place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until lightly golden.
- Remove from oven, roll in powdered sugar while warm, and cool completely before serving.
Notes
For extra flavor, toast chopped almonds before adding to the dough. Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to a week.
