Description
A comforting and classic Crockpot Meatloaf that combines savory flavors with the ease of slow cooking for a delightful meal.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/4 cup ketchup
- 1/4 cup finely chopped onion
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/4 cup chopped parsley
Instructions
- In a large bowl, gather all your ingredients: ground beef, breadcrumbs, milk, ketchup, chopped onion, egg, garlic powder, salt, black pepper, and parsley.
- Using your hands or a spatula, mix the ingredients together until everything is well combined. Avoid overmixing to keep your meatloaf tender.
- Shape the mixture into a loaf and gently place it into your crockpot. Set your crockpot to low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours. It’s done when the internal temperature reaches 160°F.
- Once cooked, carefully remove the meatloaf from the crockpot. Let it rest for about 5 minutes before slicing to retain moisture.
Notes
Best served with mashed potatoes, steamed vegetables, or a fresh salad. Can be customized with different herbs and veggies.
