Description

Easy and flavorful Crockpot Chicken Tacos that the whole family will love. Perfect for busy weeknights with minimal prep work!


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound chicken breasts
  • 1 can black beans, drained
  • 1 can corn, drained
  • 1 packet taco seasoning
  • 1 cup salsa
  • Taco shells
  • Toppings (cheese, lettuce, sour cream, etc.)

Instructions

  1. Place the chicken breasts in the bottom of your crockpot.
  2. Add the drained black beans, corn, taco seasoning, and salsa on top of the chicken.
  3. Cover the crockpot and set it to cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours.
  4. Once cooked, shred the chicken right in the crockpot and mix it well with the other ingredients. Serve in taco shells with your favorite toppings.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days, or freeze for up to three months. Use frozen chicken without thawing, increasing cook time by 1 hour.
