A comforting and wholesome crockpot meal of tender chicken and nutrient-rich cabbage, slow cooked to perfection.
Ingredients

- 4 chicken breasts
- 1 small head of cabbage, chopped
- 2 onions, sliced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon thyme
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
Instructions
- Layer the chopped cabbage at the bottom of a crockpot.
- Place the chicken breasts on top of the cabbage.
- Add the sliced onions and minced garlic over the chicken.
- Mix the chicken broth, salt, pepper, paprika, thyme, and olive oil in a bowl.
- Pour the mixture evenly over the chicken and vegetables.
- Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours.
- Serve warm and enjoy!
Notes
For more flavor, marinate the chicken in the broth mixture overnight before cooking. You can also add other vegetables like carrots or bell peppers.
