Deliciously crispy skin and juicy meat make these Baked Chicken Thighs a perfect dish for any occasion.


Ingredients

  • 4 bone-in, skin-on chicken thighs
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • Fresh herbs for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C). Pat the chicken thighs dry with paper towels.
  2. Combine olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper in a bowl. Mix until well integrated.
  3. Rub the mixture all over the chicken thighs, ensuring seasoning gets under the skin.
  4. Place the seasoned chicken thighs skin-side up on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake for 35-40 minutes or until crispy and the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).

Notes

For extra crispiness, place the chicken on a wire rack while baking. Allow resting time after baking for moist meat.
