Description

Ingredients

  • 2 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 4 (8 oz) packages cream cheese, softened
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1/4 cup freshly squeezed orange juice
  • Zest of 1 orange

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 325°F (160°C).
  2. In a bowl, combine graham cracker crumbs and melted butter until it resembles wet sand. Press firmly into the bottom of a 9-inch springform pan.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese and sugar until smooth and creamy. Add vanilla extract, orange juice, and orange zest, blending until well combined.
  4. Beat in the eggs one at a time, mixing just until blended after each addition.
  5. Pour the cream cheese mixture over the prepared crust, smoothing the top with a spatula. Bake for 55-60 minutes until the center is set but slightly wobbly.
  6. Remove from the oven and cool at room temperature. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours or overnight before serving.

Notes

Serve chilled, garnished with fruit, whipped cream, or a drizzle of chocolate sauce. Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 5 days or freeze for up to 2 months.
