Description
A delicious and comforting dish featuring tender chicken thighs enveloped in a rich and creamy sauce.
Ingredients
Scale
- 4 chicken thighs
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Season the chicken thighs with salt and pepper, then sear them in the skillet for 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown.
- In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant. Then, pour in the heavy cream and add the Parmesan cheese, stirring until the sauce is well combined and slightly thickened.
- Place the seared chicken thighs in a baking dish and pour the creamy sauce over them. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes until the chicken is cooked through and reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C). Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
Notes
For enhanced flavor, marinate the chicken thighs in a mixture of olive oil, garlic, and spices for a few hours before cooking. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
