Ingredients

  • 2 chicken breasts
  • 1 cup broccoli florets
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 3 tablespoons honey
  • 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
  • 1/4 cup heavy cream

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat.
  2. Season the chicken breasts with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder.
  3. Add the chicken to the skillet and cook until golden brown, about 6-7 minutes per side.
  4. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
  5. Add broccoli and a splash of water to the skillet, cover, and steam for 3-4 minutes.
  6. In a bowl, mix together honey, Dijon mustard, and heavy cream.
  7. Pour the sauce mixture into the skillet and stir to combine with the broccoli.
  8. Return the chicken to the skillet, coat with the sauce, and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until heated through.

Notes

Marinate chicken in sauce for added flavor; can substitute with Greek yogurt or coconut cream for a lighter version.
