Description

A delightful one-pan dish combining tender shrimp with creamy rice infused with garlic and butter, perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup rice
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Melt the butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  2. Add the shrimp to the skillet and cook for 3-4 minutes until they turn pink and opaque.
  3. Carefully remove the shrimp from the skillet and set them aside.
  4. Add the rice and chicken broth to the same skillet. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for about 15 minutes.
  5. Stir in the heavy cream, then Add the cooked shrimp back to the skillet. Mix everything well and season to taste with salt and pepper.
  6. Garnish the dish with fresh parsley before serving.

Notes

For a lighter dish, you can adjust the amount of heavy cream or add more chicken broth. Fresh shrimp is recommended for best flavor.
