- 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 4 tablespoons butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup rice
- 2 cups chicken broth
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Melt the butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
- Add the shrimp to the skillet and cook for 3-4 minutes until they turn pink and opaque.
- Carefully remove the shrimp from the skillet and set them aside.
- Add the rice and chicken broth to the same skillet. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for about 15 minutes.
- Stir in the heavy cream, then Add the cooked shrimp back to the skillet. Mix everything well and season to taste with salt and pepper.
- Garnish the dish with fresh parsley before serving.
Notes
For a lighter dish, you can adjust the amount of heavy cream or add more chicken broth. Fresh shrimp is recommended for best flavor.
