Ingredients

  • 1 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 3 cups granulated sugar
  • 6 large eggs
  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 325°F (165°C). Grease and flour a bundt pan.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, beat the cream cheese and butter together until creamy.
  3. Gradually add sugar, and beat until light and fluffy. Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.
  4. Mix in the vanilla extract.
  5. In a separate bowl, whisk together flour and salt. Gradually add this mixture to the cream cheese mixture, mixing until just combined.
  6. Pour the batter into the prepared bundt pan and smooth the top. Bake for 70-80 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  7. Allow the cake to cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring it to a wire rack to cool completely.
