Ingredients

  • 3 cups cooked chicken, shredded or cubed
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 packet ranch seasoning mix
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese, divided
  • 8 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 3 green onions, sliced
  • 2 cups cooked egg noodles (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. In a large bowl, combine cream cheese, ranch seasoning mix, sour cream, and 1 cup of cheddar cheese until smooth.
  3. Fold in the cooked chicken, crumbled bacon (saving some for topping), sliced green onions, and cooked noodles if using.
  4. Spread the mixture into the prepared baking dish, topping with remaining cheese and reserved bacon. Bake uncovered for 25–30 minutes.
  5. Let the casserole sit for about 5 minutes before serving.

Notes

For a lighter version, substitute Greek yogurt for sour cream. You can also use rotisserie chicken for convenience.
