  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1 cup chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup chopped nuts (e.g., walnuts or pecans)
  • 1/2 cup shredded coconut

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and gather your ingredients.
  2. Cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until smooth and fluffy. Beat in the eggs one at a time and follow with the vanilla extract.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually blend into the creamed mixture, then stir in oats, chocolate chips, nuts, and coconut until combined.
  4. Drop rounded tablespoons onto ungreased baking sheets, spacing about 2 inches apart. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until edges are lightly golden.
  5. Let cookies cool on baking sheets for 5 minutes, then transfer to wire racks to cool completely.
