Description

A delightful dish that combines the richness of cowboy butter with the zesty brightness of lemon, all wrapped around tender chicken and perfectly cooked bowtie pasta.


Ingredients

  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 8 oz bowtie pasta
  • 1/4 cup cowboy butter
  • 2 lemons (zested and juiced)
  • 1 garlic clove (minced)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cook the bowtie pasta according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet over medium heat, add cowboy butter and allow it to melt.
  3. Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper, then add them to the skillet. Cook for about 6-7 minutes on each side or until cooked through.
  4. Remove chicken from the skillet and let it rest.
  5. Add minced garlic to the same skillet and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  6. Add lemon juice and zest, stirring to combine.
  7. Slice the chicken and return it to the skillet along with the cooked pasta. Toss everything together to coat in the sauce.
  8. Serve garnished with fresh parsley.

Notes

If you can’t find cowboy butter, substitute with unsalted butter and your favorite seasoning blend. Experiment with additional herbs or vegetables for extra flavor and nutrition.
