Description

A delightful dessert that combines the creaminess of cottage cheese with the lightness of whipped cream for a guilt-free indulgence.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups cottage cheese
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 tablespoons gelatin
  • 1/4 cup water

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, sprinkle gelatin over water and let it bloom for about 5 minutes.
  2. In a large bowl, blend the cottage cheese until it’s completely smooth.
  3. In a separate bowl, whip the heavy cream until soft peaks form.
  4. Stir in sugar and vanilla extract into the blended cottage cheese.
  5. Heat the bloomed gelatin until it dissolves completely, then mix it into the cottage cheese mixture.
  6. Gently fold the whipped cream into the cottage cheese mixture.
  7. Pour the mixture into ramekins or a serving dish and refrigerate for at least 4 hours until set.
  8. Serve chilled and enjoy.

Notes

For added flavor, serve with fresh berries or drizzle with honey. Store leftover mousse in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
