- 2 cups cottage cheese
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 tablespoons gelatin
- 1/4 cup water
Instructions
- In a small bowl, sprinkle gelatin over water and let it bloom for about 5 minutes.
- In a large bowl, blend the cottage cheese until it’s completely smooth.
- In a separate bowl, whip the heavy cream until soft peaks form.
- Stir in sugar and vanilla extract into the blended cottage cheese.
- Heat the bloomed gelatin until it dissolves completely, then mix it into the cottage cheese mixture.
- Gently fold the whipped cream into the cottage cheese mixture.
- Pour the mixture into ramekins or a serving dish and refrigerate for at least 4 hours until set.
- Serve chilled and enjoy.
Notes
For added flavor, serve with fresh berries or drizzle with honey. Store leftover mousse in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
