- 1 cup cottage cheese
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup cocoa powder
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup unsweetened applesauce
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup chocolate chips (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease an 8×8 inch baking pan.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the cottage cheese, sugar, cocoa powder, flour, applesauce, vanilla extract, baking powder, and salt. Mix until smooth.
- If using, gently fold in the chocolate chips.
- Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean. Allow to cool before cutting.
