Description

A delightful and cheesy cornbread casserole that’s perfect as a side dish or a comforting main course.


Ingredients

  • 1 box of cornbread mix
  • 1 can of cream corn
  • 1 can of regular corn (drained)
  • 1 cup of sour cream
  • 1 cup of shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup of melted butter
  • 1/2 teaspoon of salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, mix together the cornbread mix, cream corn, regular corn, sour cream, melted butter, and salt until well combined.
  3. Fold in the shredded cheddar cheese.
  4. Pour the mixture into a greased 9×13 inch baking dish and bake for 30-40 minutes, or until golden brown and a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  5. Let it cool slightly before serving.

Notes

For a crispy topping, add a handful of crushed tortilla chips or breadcrumbs before baking.
