A delightful hybrid that combines classic cookie flavors with the presentation of a cake, perfect for any occasion.


Ingredients

  • 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 cups chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a round cake pan.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt.
  3. In a separate large bowl, beat together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until creamy.
  4. Add in the vanilla extract and eggs, mixing until well combined. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined. Stir in the chocolate chips.
  5. Spread the cookie dough into the prepared cake pan evenly. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the edges are golden and the center is set.
  6. Let it cool in the pan for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely. Serve as-is or with a scoop of ice cream.
