- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 3/4 cup brown sugar, packed
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 large eggs
- 2 cups chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a round cake pan.
- In a bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt.
- In a separate large bowl, beat together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until creamy.
- Add in the vanilla extract and eggs, mixing until well combined. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined. Stir in the chocolate chips.
- Spread the cookie dough into the prepared cake pan evenly. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the edges are golden and the center is set.
- Let it cool in the pan for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely. Serve as-is or with a scoop of ice cream.
