Ingredients

  • 2 cups brewed coffee
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Begin by brewing your favorite coffee. Make it strong, as this will be the base of your syrup.
  2. In a medium-sized saucepan, combine the brewed coffee, sugar, and water. Whisk until the sugar is well distributed.
  3. Place the saucepan over medium heat and bring the mixture to a gentle boil, stirring occasionally. Once it reaches a boil, reduce heat and simmer for about 15-20 minutes until it thickens.
  4. Remove from heat and stir in the vanilla extract. Allow to cool completely before transferring to a clean container for storage.

Notes

Store in the refrigerator for up to two weeks. Shake before use if separation occurs.
