- 1 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup water
- 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- Begin by brewing your favorite coffee. Make it strong, as this will be the base of your syrup.
- In a medium-sized saucepan, combine the brewed coffee, sugar, and water. Whisk until the sugar is well distributed.
- Place the saucepan over medium heat and bring the mixture to a gentle boil, stirring occasionally. Once it reaches a boil, reduce heat and simmer for about 15-20 minutes until it thickens.
- Remove from heat and stir in the vanilla extract. Allow to cool completely before transferring to a clean container for storage.
