Description

Delightful no-bake dessert squares with rich coconut and rum flavors, perfect for any occasion.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 1 cup sweetened shredded coconut
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/2 cup rum (or rum extract)
  • 1/2 cup melted butter
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup additional shredded coconut for topping

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, mix together graham cracker crumbs, shredded coconut, powdered sugar, and cocoa powder.
  2. Add in the melted butter, rum, and vanilla extract; mix until fully combined.
  3. Press the mixture firmly into a greased 8×8 inch baking dish.
  4. Sprinkle the top with additional shredded coconut and press down slightly.
  5. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours before cutting into squares.

Notes

For a non-alcoholic version, use rum extract instead of real rum. Keep them stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to a week.
