- 2 cups egg noodles
- 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup
- 1 cup milk
- 1 can (5 oz) tuna, drained
- 1 cup frozen peas
- 1/2 cup chopped onion
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup bread crumbs
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Cook the egg noodles according to package instructions, then drain thoroughly.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the cream of mushroom soup, milk, drained tuna, frozen peas, chopped onion, and drained noodles. Stir until uniform.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste and gently fold in half of the shredded cheddar cheese.
- Transfer the mixture to a greased baking dish. Sprinkle remaining cheese and breadcrumbs on top. Bake for 25-30 minutes until bubbling and golden brown.
Notes
For added texture, try using crushed potato chips or panko breadcrumbs on top. You can also sauté the onions for enhanced flavor.
