Description

  3. Gradually add the flour, mixing until a soft, crumbly dough forms.
  4. Turn the dough onto a lightly floured surface, knead gently until it comes together, then roll out to approximately 1/2 inch thickness. Cut into desired shapes.
  5. Place the cookie shapes on the baking sheet, spacing them about 1 inch apart, and prick each cookie several times with a fork. Bake for 18-22 minutes until the edges begin to turn golden.
  6. Allow cookies to cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
