Instructions
- Cook the spaghetti according to package instructions until al dente. Drain the pasta and set it aside while you prepare the sauce.
- In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and optional red pepper flakes, sautéing for about 1 minute.
- Stir in the diced tomatoes, sliced olives, and capers. Bring the mixture to a gentle simmer and let it cook for about 5-7 minutes.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste. Toss the cooked spaghetti with the sauce until well coated. Serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley or basil.
Notes
