- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 tablespoons baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1 cup milk
- 1/4 cup melted butter
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon cinnamon
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a muffin tin.
- In a bowl, combine flour, baking powder, salt, sugar, and cinnamon.
- In another bowl, whisk together milk, melted butter, eggs, and vanilla.
- Mix the wet and dry ingredients until just combined.
- In a small bowl, mix brown sugar and cinnamon.
- Fill muffin cups halfway with batter, sprinkle with cinnamon sugar, then top with more batter.
- Swirl the batter with a toothpick for a marble effect.
- Bake for 18-20 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Cool for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
Notes
Best served warm with a simple glaze of powdered sugar and milk. Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 2 days.
