Ingredients

  • 2 ounces hot water
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • Sweetener of choice (optional)
  • 1 cup milk of choice
  • 1/2 cup ice cubes
  • 1/2 cup cold milk
  • 1 scoop protein powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Pinch of ground cinnamon for garnish

Instructions

  1. Whisk matcha powder with hot water until completely smooth and frothy.
  2. Stir in ground cinnamon and optional sweetener until dissolved.
  3. Fill a tall glass with ice cubes and pour in the milk of choice.
  4. Pour the matcha-cinnamon mixture over the milk and ice, stirring gently to combine.
  5. In a separate bowl or shaker, combine cold milk, protein powder, cinnamon, vanilla extract, and optional sweetener. Use a milk frother or whisk to whip the mixture until thick, creamy, and foamy.
