Ingredients

- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup warm milk
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 1 packet (2 1/4 teaspoons) active dry yeast
- 1/4 cup butter, melted
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon cinnamon
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup icing sugar (for glaze)
- 1 tablespoon milk (for glaze)
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine warm milk, sugar, and yeast. Let it sit until foamy, about 5-10 minutes.
- Mix in melted butter, salt, and flour. Knead for about 5 minutes until smooth.
- Let the dough rise in a warm place until doubled in size, about 1 hour.
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Roll out the dough into a rectangle and spread melted butter, brown sugar, and cinnamon over it.
- Roll the rectangle tightly and cut into slices.
- Place the slices in a greased baking dish and let rise for another 30 minutes.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden.
- Mix icing sugar and milk to make a glaze and drizzle over the warm focaccia before serving.
Notes
Serve warm for the best experience. Can be stored at room temperature for up to 2 days or refrigerated for up to a week.
