Description

A delightful treat featuring soft, fluffy rolls filled with cinnamon and brown sugar, topped with a gooey icing.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups warm milk
  • 1 packet active dry yeast
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 large eggs
  • 56 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 tablespoons milk (for icing)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine warm milk, yeast, and sugar. Let it sit for 5-10 minutes until foamy.
  2. Add melted butter, salt, and eggs; mix well.
  3. Gradually add flour until dough forms. Knead on a floured surface until smooth.
  4. Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise until doubled in size (about 1 hour).
  5. Roll out the dough to a rectangle. Spread melted butter, sprinkle cinnamon, and brown sugar.
  6. Roll up tightly and slice into individual rolls.
  7. Place rolls in a greased baking dish, cover, and let rise again for 30-45 minutes.
  8. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and bake for 20-25 minutes until golden.
  9. For icing, mix powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla until smooth. Drizzle over warm rolls before serving.

Notes

Use warm milk but not too hot; it should feel warm to the touch. Knead dough until smooth for fluffiness. Allow dough to rise properly.
