- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon cinnamon
- 1/4 cup powdered sugar
- 1 tablespoon milk
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a baking dish.
- In a bowl, combine the all-purpose flour, baking powder, and salt.
- In another bowl, whisk together the sugar and melted butter. Add the eggs and vanilla extract, mixing well until combined.
- Gradually fold the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just combined.
- In a small bowl, mix the brown sugar and cinnamon for the filling.
- Pour half of the batter into the greased baking dish, sprinkle the cinnamon-sugar mixture, and add the remaining batter on top.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown and a toothpick comes out clean.
- Allow to cool, whisk powdered sugar and milk for the glaze, drizzle over the cooled bars, and cut into squares.
Notes
Store in an airtight container for up to 3 days or refrigerate for a week. Freeze for up to 3 months.
