Description

Delightful baked donuts filled with creamy peanut butter cups and topped with a rich chocolate glaze.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup peanut butter cups, chopped
  • Glaze:
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 tbsp cocoa powder
  • 3 tbsp milk

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a donut pan.
  2. In a large bowl, mix flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, whisk milk, oil, egg, and vanilla until smooth. Combine wet and dry ingredients, then fold in peanut butter cups.
  4. Fill the donut pan 2/3 full and bake for 10-12 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean.
  5. Cool for a few minutes, then prepare the glaze by mixing powdered sugar, cocoa powder, and milk. Dip the tops of donuts into the glaze.

Notes

Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 2 days, or refrigerate for a week. Freeze unglazed donuts for up to 2 months.
