- 1 cup butter, softened
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup brown sugar, packed
- 2 large eggs
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 3 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup chocolate kisses, unwrapped
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Cream together the softened butter, sugar, and brown sugar until smooth. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla extract.
- Combine the flour, baking soda, and salt in another bowl, then gradually add to the butter mixture until just combined.
- Roll the dough into small balls and place them on an ungreased baking sheet. Bake for about 10 minutes. Press a chocolate kiss into the center of each cookie once removed from the oven. Cool before transferring to wire racks.
Notes
Ensure butter and eggs are at room temperature for better mixing. Do not overbake the cookies.
