- 1 cup softened butter
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- ½ cup cocoa powder
- ½ teaspoon baking soda
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup chopped strawberries
- 1 cup chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Cream together the butter and sugar until smooth and fluffy.
- Beat in the flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, salt, and vanilla extract until well combined.
- Gently fold in the chopped strawberries.
- Drop spoonfuls of the dough onto greased baking sheets, spacing them apart.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes until set and slightly underdone.
- While cooling, melt the chocolate chips and dip each cookie halfway into the melted chocolate.
- Place dipped cookies on parchment paper to cool and allow chocolate to harden.
Notes
For best results, use fresh strawberries and do not overbake the cookies.
