Chocolate-Covered Pretzel Nests

  • Author: mia-harper
  • Total Time: 25 minutes
  • Yield: 12 nests
  • Diet: Vegetarian

Description

Delightful chocolate-covered pretzel nests that balance sweet and savory flavors, perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

  • Pretzel twists
  • Chocolate chips or melting chocolate
  • Candy eggs or mini eggs
  • Optional: Sprinkles for decoration

Instructions

  1. Start by melting the chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl or over a double boiler. Heat in 30-second intervals, stirring until fully melted and smooth.
  2. Dip each pretzel twist into the melted chocolate, ensuring it’s fully coated. Allow excess chocolate to drip off before placing the pretzel on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  3. Place the chocolate-covered pretzels onto the baking sheet, arranging them in a nest shape. Feel free to overlap the pretzels for a nest-like effect!
  4. While the chocolate is still soft, place a few candy eggs in the center of each pretzel nest.
  5. Allow the pretzel nests to cool and set completely, either at room temperature or in the refrigerator.
  6. Before the chocolate hardens completely, sprinkle some additional decoration on top for extra flair.

Notes

Store any leftover nests in an airtight container at room temperature for up to one week. For freshness, refrigerate them but let them come to room temperature before serving.
