Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together the heavy cream, whole milk, granulated sugar, and salt until the sugar is dissolved.
- Stir in the vanilla extract.
- Pour the mixture into an ice cream maker and churn according to the manufacturer’s instructions until it reaches a soft-serve consistency.
- Add in the cookie dough and chocolate chips, stirring to incorporate. Transfer the mixture to a lidded container and freeze for at least 4 hours until firm.
Notes
For a creamier texture, you can use a combination of heavy cream and half-and-half instead of whole milk. Store in an airtight container for up to 2 weeks.
