Ingredients

  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup caramel sauce
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cream together the softened butter and granulated sugar until fluffy and light in color.
  3. Beat in the eggs and vanilla extract until well combined.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, and salt. Gradually add to the wet mixture.
  5. Roll the dough into balls and press your thumb into each to create an indentation.
  6. Fill each indentation with caramel sauce.
  7. Bake for 10-12 minutes until set but still soft.
  8. Let cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes, then transfer to a wire rack.
  9. Melt the chocolate chips and drizzle over the cooled cookies before serving.
