Description

Indulge in a rich and gooey chocolate caramel dessert that’s easy to prepare and perfect for any gathering.


Ingredients

  • 1 box chocolate cake mix
  • 1 can sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 cup caramel sauce
  • 1 cup chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup chopped pecans (optional)
  • 1/2 cup butter (melted)
  • 2 cups water

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
  2. Spread the dry chocolate cake mix evenly in the baking dish.
  3. Pour 2 cups of water over the cake mix without mixing. Drizzle sweetened condensed milk and caramel sauce on top. Sprinkle chocolate chips and pecans, then drizzle melted butter on top.
  4. Bake for 40-45 minutes until the cake is set and top is bubbly and golden brown. Cool slightly before serving.

Notes

For extra richness, add a pinch of sea salt before baking or serve warm with vanilla ice cream.
