- 2 cups pretzels
- 1 cup butter
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1 cup sweetened condensed milk
- 1 cup chocolate chips
- 1 tablespoon instant coffee granules
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
- Crush the pretzels into roughly broken pieces and spread evenly in the bottom of the baking dish.
- In a saucepan, melt the butter and brown sugar together over medium heat for about 4-5 minutes until it forms a smooth caramel sauce.
- Remove from heat and stir in the sweetened condensed milk, instant coffee granules, and vanilla extract.
- Pour the caramel mixture over the layer of pretzels in the baking dish.
- Sprinkle chocolate chips on top of the caramel layer.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes, until chocolate is bubbly and edges are golden brown.
- Allow to cool completely before cutting into squares.
Notes
For best texture, ensure pretzels are crushed into small pieces. You can chill or freeze the bars for later enjoyment.
