Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Powdered sugar for dusting

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a mini doughnut pan.
  2. In a bowl, mix together the flour, cocoa powder, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together the milk, vegetable oil, egg, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  4. Combine the wet and dry ingredients, mixing until just combined.
  5. Spoon the batter into the prepared doughnut pan, filling each about 3/4 full.
  6. Bake for 8-10 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
  7. Allow the doughnut holes to cool slightly in the pan for a few minutes, then remove them gently and let them cool further on a wire rack.
  8. Dust with powdered sugar before serving.
