Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 4×8 inch loaf pan.
- Mash the ripe bananas in a mixing bowl until smooth, then stir in the melted butter.
- Mix in the baking soda and salt, followed by the sugar, beaten egg, and vanilla extract.
- Gently stir in the flour until just combined, then fold in the chocolate chips.
- Pour the batter into the greased loaf pan and bake for 50-60 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Let the bread cool in the pan for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
